Pelham on Main

We’ve stayed at Pelham on Main a few times now, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location, just a short drive to West Dennis Beach, which makes it super convenient if you want to spend time by the ocean. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The property itself has a nice charm with its landscaping, and the pool is a great spot to unwind after the beach. What we also love is that there are plenty of breakfast spots and restaurants nearby, so you never run out of choices for good food. Every time we’ve been here, the place has been spotless and well maintained. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming and reliable, you know you’ll have a good stay. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend while traveling to attend a memorial celebration for a friend. The Inn is family run and our hosts went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. They offered valuable tips and insights on local dining along with an invitation for complimentary high end coffee in the front office. I used the pool which was empty in the morning even though the hotel was fully booked, and it was large enough for lap swimming, which got my day off to a great start. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with an array of imported Japanese trees and shrubs. Everywhere, we were impressed by the great attention to detail and the tasteful, and comfortable decor, including a high quality bed. The Inn at Swan River is a gem. We highly recommend it, and look forward to returning.

Great affordable hotel on the cape! It was perfect for a couples trip and had just what we needed! Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and updated. Not entirely walking distance to many shops and restaurants but very short/ easy drive to most. The one additional thing I will mention is the walls and ceiling/floors are very thin (we could hear the neighbors TV, downstairs neighbor told us they could tell where we were in the room above)… would recommend bringing a sound machine if others noise bothers you! Overall was a lovely experience and would return again!

I tried finding a recent review on Google to no avail. I read about the acquisition and renovation of the property. The photos of the room on the hotel website are accurate. The wood floors, absence of carpet and a walk-in shower met my preferences. The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside of the room (#6) is one window faced the parking lot and the other a white six foot fence a few feet away hence the four rather than five stars. There are rooms that face the pool. The air conditioning worked extremely well. The front desk attendants were cheerful and helpful.

We had a great experience. Because we own our own Luxury Inn up in Canada, our standards are high! Pelham far exceeded all our expectations! Staffing was outstanding, rooms are large and spacious, central location! If I could give them 11 stars! I would!

wow! what an amazing place. the rooms are modern and clean, with comfortable beds and nautical decor. there are so many amenities as well - with a large heated pool, a fire pit, and a complementary shuttle to their sister property, pelham house resort! the resort has an amazing beach, with chairs, umbrellas, and towels! i’d give this place six stars if i could!

I'll start by saying swan river was the only true dog friendly hotel. The others that were flagged as dog friendly only allow service animals. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They provided us with coffee at check in and good recommendations for dinner. The rooms are a good size and the beds and pillows very plush, which we enjoyed. Overall the rooms were clean and the shower pressure was fine. The real selling point is the backyard amenities. They have a pool, shuffleboard, grills, fire pit, and a collection of trees with signs to explain the different types. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to external lighting outside of our room that even with the shades drawn was mildly annoying.

We had a great stay at Pelham on Main. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day out. The location was perfect—just a short drive to all the beaches and within easy reach of great restaurants. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming both at check-in and check-out, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!
